Model: Archer AX53
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Previously I used TP Link AC80 I used this router. Access control on this router Guest network or Guest SSID Clients could be added without a MAC address. When I used the allow list. But TP Link AX53 v1 If you use allowlist on this router Then the clients of the guest network will be able to access the network except the MAC address. This option is not available.🥹

This feature is very important and necessary for the guest network client. Please add this function in the next update.

Hello@Rahibur001 ,

Welcome to our community.

Please check the Guest Permissions under the guest network.

Enable both options for a try.

@Joseph-TP I tried a lot but it didn't work. But I used an earlier model, TP Link AC80. This model did not have the guest network MAC address problem. When using allow lists.

I have given a picture below. The part marked in this picture is the TP link AC80. But TP link AX53 router are not showing this opisons.

** It's annoying to have to repeatedly add new guest clients' MAC addresses.

**Please try to add this feature in the next firmware update.

Hi@Rahibur001 ,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Archer AX53 currently does not support this feature. You can submit your Feature Request here. If other users have the same request, they can vote for it.

Best Regards.
