@reffsZA Web page for XX530v mentions it supports OMCI. Isn't support for this commands what OMCI is all about?

Hello @VladimirPopescu ,

As I know, OMCI is a standardized protocol (G.988) defined by the ITU-T for remote management of ONUs/ONTs by the OLT over a GPON network. Its functionality is limited by the standard's Management Information Base (MIB). The flash set command is typically a vendor-provided command-line interface (CLI) for the device.

While GPON devices support OMCI (ONT Management and Control Interface), it does not necessarily support vendor-specific flash set commands.

@Joseph-TP But aren't these commands available in an another way, so that they end up doing same thing? This is what we need.

@MacielJunior They aren't. You can barely turn wifi on or off with telnet, and ssh is not available. It should be possible to run similar commands to change this options. Lots of onus have more options than what TP-Link offers I'm afraid.

@reffsZA These commands don't work in tp link I think.

There's the Tp-link Xz000 G3 where you can set some of these settings via web UI, but it's a simpler device, with no wifi, but those specific commands don't work in any Tp Link anyway.

@gijuruna G3 is told to have more options, but it needs a router to work. Thats the sad part
