Deco X50 5G keeps rebooting randomly throughout the day

I have the latest firmware update. I'm using the deco as a 5G router. I don't have a mesh network with additional extenders. Just the main deco unit.
After the latest firmware update the Deco unit randomly reboots several times throughout the day.
The reboots are random, there is no pattern to it.
This is very disruptive as it happens randomly when i'm on a call or working. Any suggestions or solutions would be highly appreciated.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
May I know your SIM carrier?
Have you noticed any LED change when Deco X50-5G randomly rebooted itself?
A new firmware 1.3.0 was released a few days ago. It is also suggested to manually update to the latest firmware version to see whether it helps:
Deco X50-5G(EU)_V1_1.3.0 Build 20250724
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

My SIM carrier is O2.
LED suddenly goes from white (normal 5G operation) to completely switched off. At that point I loose all connectivity. Then the router boots up again as normal.
This firmware update does not show up automatically on the tplink app. Do I have to do a manual update?
Thanks for the reply,
Best Regards

Yes, you might need to manually update to 1.3.0.
I'll also follow up on your case via email to see if there are any other suggestions from the senior engineers.
Please check whether you can receive my email later.
By the way, did you power on Deco X50-5G via the original power adapter?
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

It seems that the firmware update 1.3.x has not yet been released for the EU region. I went the tp-link support page for Germany below:
tplink germany support website
but here you can see that 1.2.x is still the latest one.
Yes I am using all original accessories that came with the router, like power adapter. This problem has started after latest firmware update. before it wasn't there.
I have been contacted by a tplink engineer by email. Maybe a solution can be achieved there.

@David-TP The latest firmware made things worse compared to the previous releaase. The downtime is even more frequent now.

Hi, nice to see you again.
Have you ever tested with another SIM card from a different mobile ISP, instead of CelcomDigi telco?
I remembered your case had been forwarded to the engineer before, and a replacement seems to be the final suggestion. Did you still use the original hardware?
Currently, apart from Deco X50-5G, do you have other 5G mobile routers?
Have you tested whether the "4G only" mode is able to provide a much more stable connection?
There haven't been other suggestions, and as the 1.3.0 version was just released, if you'd like to further cooperate with us, I've left a message with the latest debug firmware for Deco X50-5G. When the 5G dropped out again, before restarting the Deco or making any changes, please still try to save the following details:
- A screenshot of the internet status.
- A copy of the web UI system log
You can send the above details to support.forum@tp-link.com, subject [Forum Escalation][ID 839078] Deco X50-5G 1.3.0 5G keeps dropping out
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

1. I was previously using another telco (Maxis) when I also had the same issue so this isolated.
2. I couldn't afford a replacement due to the fact that I have to send in the device without a replacement for months. Can't afford all the downtime, unless TP-Link can provide me a model in exchange of sending it in at the same time.
3. The issue worsen with 1.3.0 compared to the more stable firmware previously.
4. I have previously tried 4G only but it's not ideal because in my country, 4G has been deprecated to the fact that it's barely usable after the rollout of 5G, so I ruled that out.
5. I have sent my logs previously a few times trying to show that there are issues but then I was told by the engineers that those are normal behaviours so it's a dead end as well.
