Hi. 

 

I had an older tp link router with a very similar interface, and that router had an UP and DOWN Kbps indicator in the interface, as well as a integrated speed test, but this newer one (XX530v) doesn't have it. 

 

Is there any way to enable it?

The feayre you're refering has to be implemented in the router FW to be available for use.

This router is meant to be distributed by ISPs and there's a slight chance implementing such a feature..

  @terziyski What do you mean by "distributed by ISPs"? This router is broadly sold here in Brazil by large retail stores. Even tp-link website lists it (redirects to AMAZON).

Apparently this model has been distributed by the ISPs in some countries - here.

In your case, you could file a feature request for the feature you mentioned - here.

From what I understand, this product is indeed a customized device, designed primarily to accommodate network configurations in certain regions. So, our standard instructions and troubleshooting suggestions are no longer fully applicable.
 

The speedtest feature has been removed from some newer models, including regular models. If you don't see it on your xx530v, it's likely designed that way. To confirm, you can contact technical support.

 

@Prakarhta & @terziyski ,

If users purchased the device in a store, it is recommended contacting local support for help.
If the device was mailed to you by your ISP, we generally recommend contacting the ISP for faster and more accurate assistance.
