Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20221019 rel.33889(5553)
Router Info on box
Model: Archer AX53
Version: IN/1.8
 
Info on firmware page
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20221019 rel.33889(5553)
Hardware Version: Archer AX53 v1.0
 
Firmware:
When I look at the product Support page on the tp-link website, I see this is the latest available version: Archer AX53(US)_V1_1.1.2 Build 20221019
Available firmware (as per "Firmware Update" page on Router admin webpage)
I am getting prompted on the Admin web page to install this version:
1.4.4 Build 20250603 rel.74380
 
I have several questions:
- why am I getting prompted to update to a version that's not listed on the product page?
- am I looking at the wrong product page for my Model and Hardware Version? If yes, what's the right page to look at?
- given that the router is prompting me to do the update, is it safe to do the update even though the product page doesn't list this firmware?

-Because your device has successfully accessed the cloud server, it will detect the new firmware.

-Model and hardware version availability varies by region. Please refer to your TP-Link regional website to determine product availability.
Vx.8=Vx.0 ; Vx.x8=Vx.x0 ; Vx.33=Vx.30
For example V1.8=V1.0; V1.28=V1.20

-This is the official firmware and can be updated, please don't worry.

 

I have reported to the local department about updating the firmware list of Archer AX53_V1 on the official website.
