  @Kevin_Z Please provide us with the updated firmware for the xx230v version V1, including the fix so that the download is no longer limited to 50MB.

@Sonickbh

I've asked the development team whether there is any pre-release or beta firmware to fix this speed limit issue on the XX230v V1.

Will update you once I'm informed by the team.

I had the same problem and my only fix was to disable mac clone. I asked my ISP release the MAC address and then connected the XX530v with mac clone disabled to get my router MAC address configured with the ISP.

In your case the ISP is saying they won't update the MAC. I believe this could be due to TR-069 (CPE WAN Management Protocol) not configured in your router. Tell them that your router supports ACS / TR-069 and they can configure ACS in your router.

TR-069 (CPE WAN Management Protocol) is not enabled in the XX530v by default. Follow the steps to enable TR-069.

  1. Go to http://192.168.1.1/superadmin and login
  2. Go to Advanced -> System Tools -> Administration
  3. In User Account Permission Settings enable CWMP Settings

Now CWMP Settings will show in Advanced -> System Tools -> CWMP Settings

Once this is done talk to them and convince them to change your router.

@TomasChott

Are you able to check for new firmware on your router's web page?

Is your internet speed also capped at 50Mbps after cloning the MAC address on the XX530v V2 EU?

Who is your provider? Please confirm whether they can release the Mac binding for you as suggested by Surendhar here.

  @Aman_1829

I, too, am facing this issue and not able to find any solutions. Please do let me know as well if you come across anything. Please DM me with other forums where you are following up on this issue.

I recently bought the tp link xx530v for my jiofiber connection to replace the jio fiber router with it by using it as a Gpon router. I applied all the settings which i could by seeing from youtube and all and my internet is working fine as i did the steps mentioned there of mac cloning.

I am facing an issue and have not been able to solve it even after getting the router replaced by the company.

during the use of wifi on the 5 ghz band (i have separated the bands into 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz), the internet suddenly stops working at random times for about 2 to 5 minutes. this happens to all devices connected to the 5 ghz band only.

this issue does not occur on the 2.4 ghz band or on ethernet-connected devices. It only happens on devices connected to the 5 ghz network. when I run the troubleshooter, it shows “no internet,” and when i check further, it says “no DHCP server found.”

after waiting for about 2 to 5 minutes, it starts working again on its own. during this time, the wifi sometimes disconnects and fails to reconnect, getting stuck on “connecting.”

this issue occurs around 4 to 5 times a day approx.

what could be the reason for this? i have also upgraded the firmware of my tp-link xx530v router, but the issue is still not resolved.
