Model: Archer VR2100
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Firmware Version:1.8.0 0.9.1 v009e.0 Build 230705 Rel.12787n

I get this on Sheilds Up Gibson webpage.  I use Bitdfefender Ultimate ,  and they do not seem to be able to give me a solution that works.  I was wondering if anyone on this forum can help me configure this at the router level.    Thanks.   "Ping Reply: RECEIVED (FAILED) — Your system REPLIED to our Ping (ICMP Echo) requests, making it visible on the Internet. Most personal firewalls can be configured to block, drop, and ignore such ping requests in order to better hide systems from hackers. This is highly recommended since "Ping" is among the oldest and most common methods used to locate systems prior to further exploitation."

  @oboist2

Uncheck remote ICMP ping here:

When you disable the remote ICMP ping, your DSL modem router won't respond to the outside ICMP echo requests.

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue and mark the post as a "Recommended Solution".

  @terziyski .  Thanks so much.  However,  the remote box was already unchecked.  Only the local box was checked.

I do appreciate your advice

Best wishes
