When the ISP was down, my wireless laptop couldn't connect to local cabled systems.
Maybe the DHCP service didn't work? I don't know the root cause why I couldn't connect to the local network.
Can you confirm this behavior is as expected, and/or can I request a feature to keep the local network running with a working DHCP service?
Or do I need to configure fixed IP's on my devices I like to keep connected, even when the ISP is down?

  @SPRK

Confirming this was also a massive, unnecessary, pointless issue for me recently with an X55 mesh.

Context

I had moved house and the internet wasn't connected yet. I wanted to set up my LAN to enjoy my docker server, Plex Media Server, printer, local storage etc etc etc.

For some reason TP-Link thinks this is not an approved use of my network.

Needs to be fixed ASAP.
