Connect Deco to university ethernet network
Hi
My son's Hall of residence has an ethernet network socket in his bedroom, managed by the University, which students can use to access the Internet.
His laptop does not have an ethernet port though, true of most laptops today.
Can he use the Deco E4R as an Access Point to make the network a WiFi one in his room?
Or will some settings prevent him on the ethernet side. It seems to be resisting so far.
Regards

Hi, welcome to the community.
I think Deco E4 would be a good choice to share the Ethernet connection to WiFi.
Moreover, Deco E4 has 2*100 Ethernet ports, so the maximum WiFi connection speed is up to 100mbps.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
Deco E4 will be connected to the Ethernet port in the Hall of residence. Then you'll need to install the Deco APP to complete the setup:
