Internet connection
I cannot connect to the internet.
I'm using the NBN FTTP and Internode. I'm using the Tether App on my phone.
I've tried different ether net cables and rebooted the router a number of times.
There is something wrong in the set-up.
Any assistance appreciated

Hi,
Have you followed Internode's instructions to configure the Internet connection?
www<dot>internode.on<dot>net/support/guides/general_settings (need to replace <dot> with . )
One important point I see there is that "all new and some existing customers" need to set a VLAN ID of 2.

Hi @woozle
Thanks for the feedback.
Yes the guy at Harvey Norman told me to set the VLAN ID to 2.
Still no connection.
I rang TP Link who checked a couple of things and referred me to Internode.
I rang Internode and the person I spoke to didn't know the answer, so has referred the issue to someone else who will look remotely.

Just to finalise this thread, both TP Link and Internode suggested various things to connect the router to the internet, without success.
One of the four tech people I spoke to suggested logging in to my old router and copying the details. The IP and MAC were very different to what I had been trying to set up with.
With this, and potentially some of the other suggestions, I got a green internet light.

Hello @Zhivago-1_2 ,
Welcome to our community.
May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:
NBN—Archer AXE75)))((( client devices
(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )
Could you confirm that have your ISP set the internet connection information(username, password &VLAN ID) on the NBN?
If the ISP has already set internet connection information on the NBN, you only need to set Archer AXE75 to dynamic IP not PPPOE. (It's best to reset your router hard and reconfigure it.)
If the ISP hasn't, compare your old router's settings. If you confirm the internet connection information is identical, you can try Mac Clone, click here.
