I received the new Wi-Fi router yesterday. I have a fiber optic provider, which is why I chose this device. I connected my office computer to the router using a CAT6A network cable. In the living room, there is a TP-Link switch connected to it, which also supports 10 Gbit/s.

However, I noticed that one of the two 10 Gbit network connections is not working. Only the second 10 Gbit connection works; the first one does not. I connected the 20-meter network cable directly to the router, but nothing happens; only the second 10 Gbit socket works properly. My fiber optic cable goes directly into the SFP connection.

Why isn't the first 10 Gbit port working? I connected my laptop, but I still can't get a connection. Only the second 10 Gbit port works.

The router is brand new, so maybe I'm just unlucky. The other 2.5 Gbit ports are also working.

Ich habe gestern den neuen WLAN-Router erhalten. Ich habe einen Glasfaser-Provider und habe mich deshalb für dieses Gerät entschieden. Meinen Computer im Büro habe ich über ein CAT6A-Netzwerkkabel mit dem Router verbunden. Im Wohnzimmer ist davor noch ein TP-Link-Switch angeschlossen, der ebenfalls 10 Gbit/s unterstützt.

Ich musste jedoch feststellen, dass einer der beiden 10-Gbit-Netzwerkanschlüsse nicht funktioniert. Nur der zweite 10-Gbit-Anschluss funktioniert, der erste nicht. Ich habe das 20 Meter lange Netzwerkkabel direkt in den Router angeschlossen, aber da tut sich nichts, nur bei der zweiten 10-Gbit-Buchse läuft alles sauber. Mein Glasfaserkabel geht direkt in den SFP-Anschluss.

Warum funktioniert der erste 10-Gbit-Anschluss nicht? Ich habe meinen Laptop angeschlossen, aber auch damit bekomme ich keine Verbindung zustande. Nur über den zweiten 10-Gbit-Anschluss kommt eine Verbindung zustande.

Der Router ist ganz neu, vielleicht habe ich nur Pech. Die anderen 2,5-Gbit-Ports laufen auch.
