Model: Deco BE25
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: V1.6

I configured one deco be5000 as main, but after having some trouble i configured a second one as main and then a satellite one. These two are working great. I am trying to configure the first one as satellite but I get: yellow and then solid red, no matter how hard I press the reset button. How can i configure this one to satellite

I disconnected it and placed it far from main and it got green again!!!! Thank you very much! You know this stuff!

  @VikingCR

Hi, usually the factory reset only needs to press the reset pinhole for 1s.

Here are some suggestions for your reference:

  • Swap the power adapter of this unit with another BE5000.
  • Put it next to the new main Deco
  • Hold the reset pinhole again for 1s only
  • Check whether the LED could turn to flashing blue

However, if it was still red, can you detect its default SSID, such as "Deco_xxxx"?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
