Firmware Version: 1.9.0 Build 20250722 Rel. 56822

I've had an M5 multi-unit Deco M5 system for several years without a problem. A couple of days ago I upgraded to the latest firmware version 1.9 and now every single device in my house gets blocked by the real time protection system. Rebooting Deco does not fix the problem. The only thing I can do is to turn real time protection off.

 

Is there a fix?

It looks like the new firmware has a bug with real-time protection, if all devices are being blocked then it’s not a configuration issue on your side. For now the only workaround is to keep real-time protection disabled until TP-Link provides a fix. You can also report this directly through the Deco app or TP-Link support so they are aware and can escalate it in the next firmware update

It is also suggested to test the beta firmware shared above to see whether it helped or not.

  @David-TP no notifications. As soon as i turn protection on everything  on my system gets blocked.
