I’ve been reading a bit about third-party app stores and how some people use them to get apps that aren’t always available on the official platforms. I’m curious if anyone in this community has experience with this, especially when it comes to smart home devices or routers.

Do these stores actually offer any useful apps for TP-Link products, or is it more trouble than it’s worth? I’m also wondering about the security side of things—would using apps from outside the official store pose risks to the network or devices?

Hi, can I have the model number of your TP-Link devices?

Do you want to download the Deco, Tether, or Tapo Apps from the third-party app stores, instead of Google Play or App Store?

It is recommended to download these APPs from the official stores. There is no evidence to suggest that third-party app stores provide superior applications for TP-Link products.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
