Model: Deco P9
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.0

Our storage facility has 7 P9 decos, we have recently upgraded our internet speed from 150mb to 900, and updated the firmware of all the decos. Since then the guest wifi network or the main one is visible however you cant connect devices to it. This isnt happening all the time, its on and off.

Of the 7 decos, the main one, and one other are wired via ethernet. The decos are in Access point mode with beamforming and fast roaming enabled.

The second deco that is wired via ethernet has only become wired in the last few weeks, However we were having serious speed issues and reliability issues before hand aswell (internet randomly dropping) and the area where the wired one is now seems to stay reliable, its just further away decos that are causing issues now.

The issues seem to be exclusively the decos as all our wired devices remain online.

Any advice would be welcomed :)

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

Can I have some screenshots of the network topology, such as:

Do you have the following issue on all Deco P9 units, or just on the second unit that is connected via an Ethernet cable?

"The Guest WiFi network or the main WiFi network is visible; however, you can't connect devices to it."

-For the second Ethernet-connected Deco P9, is it connected to the Ethernet wall jacket or via a long Ethernet cable from the main P9?

I think 7 Deco units are a little overloaded(How many Deco units can I add to my Deco mesh network?). If possible, it is suggested to remove 2-3 units and relocate the rest of the Mesh units to see whether it helps improve the network stability.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
