Windows 11 PC won't connect to Wi-Fi on 5Ghz band via Deco BE25 (BE5000)
Hi,
My PC running Windows 11 will not connect to my home Wi-Fi on 5Ghz.
PC has an Intel AX201 160Mhz WI-FI adapter configured to connect using 802.11ax (have tried 802.11ac as well). Channel and channel width set to auto.
DECO BE25 is configured as an access point to an Archer VX420-G2v (AX5400) Wi-Fi 6 router.
I can connect the PC to the router directly on 5Ghz.
I can connect the PC to the DECO BE25 in 2.4Ghz.
All other devices connect to DECO in 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz with no issue.
PC seems to connect to DECO (shows PC connected in DECO app), but is not obtaining IP/seeing gateway, so it shows "Wi-Fi connected no internet".
Occasionally it does connect for a short period obtaining an IP address from the gateway, but when I attempt to ping the gateway it timeout and loses Internet connection again.
I currently have the PC connected to the network via an Ethernet connection.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled PC wi-fi adapter drivers, power cycled router and DECO (leaving off over night), performed ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew. Nothing has worked so far.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
Regards,
Jonty
