Why are SQM settings not applied in the GE550? It is almost impossible to make Buffferbloat settings of the GE550. This problem should be corrected with an update. The ge550's bufferbloat values sucks.

Are you sure the GE550 supports SQM (i.e. Smart Queue Management)? Is there any mention of it in the GE550?
In case you were talking about the traffic prioritization QoS, then yes, other users have also noticed on various Archer models that it doesn't really seem to do much.

@woozle There is no SQM at the Ge550. Why isn't there any similar application in such a device? Although the QOS is open, the Buffferbloat values are poor. When users open the QOS U, the device should automatically set to the best bufferbloat values.

I wouldn't know why TP-Link doesn't offer true SQM as an option.
Maybe they are afraid of the performance implications and subsequent complaints?
For context. I own a router of another brand that does have a way to activate SQM. That router is lower spec than a GE550, but it still has a 2.5G WAN port. With SQM activated (which requires deactivation of hardware network acceleration) the download speed through the WAN port only gets up to 800 Mbps at most.
