Frage zur Verbindung
Hallo zusammen,
ich habe mal eine Frage. Ich habe einen Zyel Router und die Deco Mesh Lösung. Nun ist es so, dass sich das Wlan Endgerät nicht mehr mit dem Router direkt verbindet sondern nur mit dem Mesh. Im Keller ist der Multimedia Schrank installiert, der Mesh steht eine Etage höher im Wohnzimmer, sodass die Verbindung zum Mesh nicht mehr möglich ist aber eine Verbindung zum Router nicht hergestellt wird.
woran könnte das liegen?

I don't think you need to reset Deco. You can edit the SSID of Deco directly on the Deco App to be different from the Zytel router.
As the Zytel router already works as the main DHCP/DNS server, it is suggested to set Deco into Access Point mode:

Hi, can I have the model number of your Deco?
Have you enabled the WiFi on the Zytel router? If yes, did you use the same SSID as Deco?

Hi,
Yes it is the Deco X1500 and i think so that i have enabled the Wifi. The SSID is the same as the name of the WLAN. We have a card with all datas on it from the Zyxel Router and this SSID wich stands ob this card i used for the Deco.
Is it maybe helpful if I reset everything?
