Model: Deco E4
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

is this possible specific wlan completely stop responding? while other functionality keep working as normal.

recently one my deco 5ghz wlan stop responding to client connected but can't even ping connected AP while 2.4ghz connected client working as normal.

other info:

i purchased 3 e4 model at same time while other 2 working as normal. all three have same firmware and version.

what i tried:

reflash firmware with uhttp mode, still same issue persist.

one major difference for this deco from other:

most load to 5ghz band and most connected client are far away from this deco. also in past this specific deco firmware got corrupted for unknown reason (i flashed firmware via web) then it worked for 7 months.

what i'm thinking and maybe possible:

firmware keep forcing to increase transmission power to connect with far client, which burn chip over the time. 3 day ago - everything was working, 2 day ago - i was able to connect to 5ghz band but no response from AP (unable to route packets), 1 day ago - can't able to connect "access denied" whenever i try to connect but still 5ghz band signal broadcast.

note:

i don't create this thread for debug or any kind of help (don't request for logs), i want simple answer YES or NO

  @kayyum_f388c764

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

It is possible that the specific 5GHz WLAN module is broken while the 2.4GHz band continues working well, for example:

Best regards.
