Change wifi region
Hello there,
(AX75 - AXE5400 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Router)
My Linux is running on 6ghz 3db wifi config. Regurarly disconnects from the wifi network. How can I change the country configuration in the router for the wifi to be abel to raise the power from 3db?
Many thanks

The only way to raise the transmit power from the router is from AXE75 WebGUI setting:
There's no option for changing the Wi-Fi region implemented.

Thanks. But the issue the localization is sent by the wifi router & the wifi card sets the signal strength to 3Db which makes the connection lost from time to time. Increasing the card signal to 6Db would make the connection more stable but there are localization restrictions in (Germany to 3Db).
What's the reason there is no way to change the localization config for the router? Different firmware?

Wireless signal power varies by region due to differing governmental regulations on maximum transmit power, with locations like the U.S. allowing higher power levels than the EU.
In the USA, unlicensed wireless devices operating on common Wi-Fi bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) are regulated by the FCC to prevent interference. Manufacturers must obtain FCC equipment authorization for these devices, which often limits the Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP) to 36 dBm (4 watts) for Wi-Fi, while the maximum transmitter output power to the antenna is typically 30 dBm (1 watt).
Wireless transmit power in the EU is not a single value but varies by frequency band, with different limits for Indoor (I) and Outdoor (O) use, and for Very Low Power (VLP) and Low Power Indoor (LPI) devices in the 6 GHz band. For example, in the 5 GHz band, limits range from 23dBm (200mW) in some channels to 30dBm (1W) in others, while 6 GHz devices have a 14dBm (25mW) outdoor limit but a 250mW (24dBm) indoor limit for Very Low Power (VLP) devices.
