Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.10 Build 20250627 Rel. 66328

Hello

I recently upgraded my AP to this latest firmware.

I was happy about the "guest network" feature, thinking it would add the possibility to create another SSID within a VLAN.

Actually it seems to block guests to access the local network, but my local network is 95% IPv6-mostly and this guest feature doesn't block that traffic.

It should allow all ICMPv6, block access to local GUA network, allow 2000::/3 range, and block everything else.

  @Mathis6 ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

ISP modem—router )))((( RE700X )))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

What model is your router?  Also, what models do your clients use?

The tech team has been made aware of your case; they will likely reach out to you via email to continue troubleshooting. Please check your email inbox and confirm.

  @Joseph-TP

My topology is as follow :

ISP network --- pfSense router, SG6100 --- RE700X )))((( wireless devices

I tried to access my servers wired with my xiaomi phone over wifi and it's not blocked on the guest network.

The server is in the fd00::/64 network.

The RE700X is in bridge mode, so the server's and the phone are on the same L2 network, but the AP should still filter traffic.
