TD-W8901N virtual circuit setting
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hey guys,
I set up the TD-W8901N using the information provided by ISP (I am using Static IP). But ISP never told me that I need to change VPI and VCI settings as well. As a default it was PVC0 with VPI 1 and VCI 32. I checked settings of my old router/modem and it was VPI 0 and VCI 35. But with the default settings I managed to change only VPI to 0 but couldn't change VCI to 35 as I was getting error message saying that it is duplicated. I hit "PVCs Summary" button I noticed that the VPI 0 and VCI 35 are used in PVC2. So what I did is that I disabled PVC2 and set up PVC0 to VPI 0 and VCI 35. I just curious if this is a good solution? Would it also work if I change to PVC2 instead ant set up it as Static IP? By the way I live in Myanmar and the ISP is MPT. Thank you.
