Model: Archer AXE75
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.1

I have Archer AXE75 and two RE220 extenders acting as a mesh network. I bought recently an irrigation controller and it became off-line and then I need to reset again and then connect back to my network, after troubleshooting I found that the controller initially connected to the main router and when it connects to the extender it goes off-line and also the way round when it moves from extender to main router it goes off-line. To prove my theory, I shutdown the extenders for 2 full weeks and never have the off-line issue.

The question is how to make the concerned controller connected to one of the extenders and never change to another extender or even the main router? Or how to make the concerned controller connected to main router and never change to the extenders?

Hello @Hezqeel ,

Welcome to our community.

The signal strength of different Mesh nodes will vary, and the client will automatically switch to the node with a stronger signal to maintain the connection quality.

Please disable the EasyMesh and test whether it recurs?

If yes, enable the guest network on the router for the irrigation controller.

Thanks for your reply… I already test before disabling the easymesh and it works fine. But the question is if I enable the guest network, is it going to be roaming from the router and extender or not? If yes then this will not resolve the issue

  @Hezqeel

When you use an easymesh the guest and IoT network would not be extended through the extenders - these two SSIDs would be on the main router only.

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue and mark the post as a "Recommended Solution".

Hello @Hezqeel ,

Yes, as Terziyski mentioned, we cannot currently extend the IoT Network or Guest Network to the Satellite unit.

My previous understanding was that you simply turned off the range extender, which would also disable the EasyMesh network.
I suggest not removing the range extender and not establishing an EasyMesh network. If you connect the irrigation controller directly to the range extender, will the network it receives be stable?
