Model: Deco BE95
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20241217 Rel.38308

I have two routers and devices configured to connect to the deco, for example I have Router_A and Router_B, and my notebook has priority over Router_A and the mesh is off and it connects to Router_B. Furthermore, Router_A is 5 meters away from the notebook and Router_B is on the top floor, so it makes no sense for it to connect to B. This happens to me with several devices that I have configured like this. I also tried with priority and the mesh is on and the same behavior occurs.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

"I have two routers and devices configured to connect to the deco, for example I have Router_A and Router_B."

Were the two routers 2 addtional Deco units(two more BE95 units?)? Or other branded WiFi routers?

It seems like you want to say that:

The notebook tends to connect to the remote satellite Deco_B, even though the satellite Deco_A is much closer.

If all your routers are Decos, you can configure "Connection Preference" to manually select the preferred connected Deco:

Connection Preference: Customize Your Preferred Signal Source

Thanks a lot.

Best regards.
