I recently added a TL-WPA8631P Extender to my TL-PA9033P powerline network. I used WPS to configure the WiFi settings to match my Plusnet Hub Two router. This allowed devices on 2.4GHz to connect to either device transparently. However, the WiFi Online Clients list displayed on the WPA8631's web interface only shows MAC addresses. There is a Device Name field but that shows UNKNOWN for any connected Clients. That makes it difficult to work out which devices are connected to the Extender.

I understand that it's difficult/impossible to translate a MAC address into a Device Name automatically, but I have already done this manually for the Plusnet router. I can copy them across given a way to associate a name with the MAC address. That would require some storage, but 32 bytes per device wouldn't add up to a lot.

PS: The tpPLC app allows the powerline devices to be given 16-character names, but they aren't displayed in the web interface either, just more MAC addresses!
