Phenomenon:
We've gradually added support for EasyMesh R2/R3 to some models, such as the RE700X and RE705X, which made several enhancements, including EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul networking capabilities.
This has met the needs of many users for optimized EasyMesh networking. We believe many users have already experienced these features!
Recently, we received feedback from some users that after updating the firmware, their Range Extenders are displaying an unusual "offline" status under the EasyMesh Device section on the main router. Please note that this abnormal display does not actually affect network usage.
We have identified the cause of this unexpected behavior, and our R&D department has also provided beta firmware for some models.
Available Solution:
If this unusual display does not affect your network usage, you can wait for the official firmware update. The following beta firmwares are available for manual download to verify whether they resolve this unexpected behavior:

Note:
- Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the beta firmware!
- For the sake of insurance, it's always recommended to save a copy of the range extender's Backup Config file before upgrading or downgrading.
- You may follow the guide to upgrade the firmware of your range extender. How to upgrade the firmware of my range extender.
If you have other models and experience the same abnormal display, please provide additional information, including but not limited to:
1. Complete network topology, including router and range extender models;
2. Ensure all devices are updated to the latest version and provide the firmware version here.

Hey,
I've seen the post because I have the same problem on my RE705X but wasn't able to fix it even now with the beta software installed. At first the repeater connects normally to Easymesh if I use it in wireless mode but as soon as I plug in my ethernet cable and switch it to wired mode, it is shown as offline on my main router. Then after some days it disappears in my Easymesh network I guess because it was offline for too long. Another problem is that some devices are rather being connected to my other repeater in wireless mode which works fine but is further away than my RE705X. Maybe this is also because it is not properly connected via Easymesh. Even though the RE705X is not connected via Easymesh right now it works. Maybe I just forgot some simple setting. Hope you can help me fix it. If you need further information just ask.
