Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

It seems after years and several firmware updates tp-link had no interest in increasing the limits on device reservation and access control lists. If you have lots of devices you are out of luck and renders a security feature, whitelisting access control, absolutely useless. Very disappointed. It means when it comes to replacing the router, tp-link are now way down on my list of preferred suppliers.Tickets were raised and subsequently ignored.

Be warned.

Hello @RalfyFM ,

Welcome to our community.

For access control, do you want to increase the number of device entries in the access control client list?

Generally speaking, modifying a function via firmware requires significant changes. It also necessitates evaluation by relevant departments, considering multiple factors including software and hardware.

Sometimes, not making modifications is primarily for stability.

Approximately how many devices in your network have access control configured?  Are the settings you've configured not working?

By the way, could you let me know the ticket ID for your case? Have you contacted the local support via the email address on the official website? Click here.
