upgrade ac1200 vr400 (no v number) to enable easymesh
is this possible and easy?!

You can check the HW version number on from the device bottom sticker (details) or from its WebGUI interface.
Although VR400 v3 is OneMesh capable (details), that's not possible for Easymesh - VR400 is not in the list.
Keep in mind that if you want to build an Easymesh and your VR400 is HW v3 you could still do that, but using the VR400 as a main router.
This should be possible by using the WPS method.
