Can't connect to set up after factory reset
Hi I have had to factory reset my x50 4g and whilst I can connect to the router using my phone, I can't connect to set up using the Tether app.
I have a blue flashing led, so as far as I know, it should be ready to set up.

Thanks for reaching out, Paul. I understand that after factory resetting your Deco Mesh (X50 4G), you are able to connect your phone to the router, but the Tether app cannot detect it for setup, and you see a blue flashing LED on the device.
Here are some troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:
1. Confirm Device Compatibility: Please ensure your using the deco app and not the tether app. The tether app is for Archer routers not deco routers.
2. Check Network Connection: Make sure your phone is connected to the main Wi-Fi network of your Deco Mesh, not to a guest network or any other network.
3. Update Firmware: If possible, log in to the web management interface of your Deco Mesh and check if there is a firmware update available. Updating to the latest firmware can help resolve detection issues.
4. Disable VPN: Turn off any VPN applications running on your phone, as they can interfere with the Deco app's ability to detect your device.
5. Turn Off Mobile Data: Please disable mobile/cellular data on your phone while trying to connect with the deco app.
6. Reboot Your Deco Mesh: Power cycle your Deco Mesh by unplugging it for 10 seconds and plugging it back in.
7. Restart the Deco App: Close the deco app completely (remove it from the background) and reopen it.

Hi, I noticed you mentioned "Tether APP here". However, Deco X50-4G can only be set up via the Deco APP.
