WhatsApp calls not connecting
Very disappointing. I bought a three BE25 (BE3600) setup to boost the wi-fi coverage around the house and in my wife's office. Unfortunately, I have now discovered that although all our devices connect, WhatsApp doesn't work on any of them (Googling the problem shows this has been an ongoing issue for a while). When making a call it rings until the other person answers - then it says 'Connecting' but never does.
I have tried all the 'solutions' in the forum - Disable 2.4 or 5 GHz, Create Guest Network, Turn off Fast Roaming, Beamforming, Mesh Technology etc...nothing has worked.
Total waste of money as we rely on WhatsApp for a number of things, so without that feature the system is useless to us!

@Buzzby Hi, thank you very much for the update.
I'd like to follow up on your case via email and ask the senior engineer for further assistance.
Please check whether you can receive my email later.
At the same time, it is also recommended to enable "SIP ALG" and "UPNP" under Deco App>More>Advanced>NAT forwarding to see whether it helps.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi, welcome to the community.
Do you still keep the old WiFi router? Will it work well with the WhatsApp service?
Here are some suggestions for your reference:
- Set Deco IPV4 DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4.
- Disable Web protection/real-time protection if you have subscribed to Security+.
- Please also confirm no Parental Control profiles were set for these devices.
- Test whether WhatsApp services work when a mobile phone is using 4G/5G data.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi,
Yes, I have reverted back to the old setup with the Sky router and WhatsApp is working again. It also works via mobile data.
I tried the DNS 8.8.8.8
I didn't have Security + or any Parental Controls.
It's a shame, as apart from that I thought the system was great. But as a family we rely on WhatsApp a lot, as does my wife for her business.
Regards,
Jo
