Tapo S112 roller mode
I have one of these on order and having watched the videos it looks perfect for my needs. My question is, if I close my garage roller door using the existing button, will the Tapo know it's closed, or will it still think it's open (assuming I used the S112 to open it)? Basically can the door and the S112 get out of sync if the existing manual button is used?
I see a whole range of uses for opening the garage door using the Tapo app, but closing it would be more convenient most of the time by simply pressing the existing button.
Thanks

Is the control button also wired to the S112 to control the same load? In that case, the manual operation can sync to the Tapo app and update the current status of the roller shutter.

@Intecofreds Just connected the S112 switch, works perfectly! The original switches on the door also work as expected, as do the original remote controllers. Very happy as we can now all control the door from our phones. Great addition to the product lineup.

A slight issue, if I use the original roller remote (or buttons in the garage) the Tapo app doesn't see the activity and as such could show the door as being closed, when it is in fact open. The good news is it doesn't try to 'open' it further which would be diastrous.
I have also encountered an issue whereby the app thinks there is an obstacle and won't allow any activity. Whereas I can see there is no such obstacle and again can use the original remote successfully.
I guess future updates and bug fixes will resolve these over time.
