Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.8.0

Hello!

I'm setting up VLANs at my house and I can't seem to be able to setup DECO in AP mode with these VLANs.

SETUP:

Wan -> pfSense -> LAN (192.168.10.0/24) -> TL-SG608E Switch -> Deco 1 (Wired) and another Deco Wirelessly in my bedroom.

What i want to do:

I've setup a VLAN (ID 1030) in pfSense with the address 192.168.30.0/24 in the TL-SG608E Switch i've Setup 802.1Q VLAN 1030. Tagged Port 1 (Where the signal comes in) and untagged Port 8 where it connects to Deco 1. When i go and assign 802.1Q PVID (1030) to Port 8  everything breaks on deco.

  @JFAlves

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deco doesn't support VLAN tags in Access Point mode.

If you plan to create Multi-SSIDs per VLAN, our business access point would be better:

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

  @David-TP I don't know much about networking but if I was to assign Port 8 with the VLAN i need, shouldnt that VLAN be passed to whatever device connects there ?
