Why Slow Speed
Upload and download speed is practically nil. When I run speedtest from computer on wireless it is 336kbps down and 138kbps up. On Tether it is 8kbps down and 4kbps up.

Hi,
If the Tether app shows no Download and Upload Rates while you are running a speedtest on your computer, then most likely your Internet connection supports IPv6 and the speedtest is also using IPv6. (for example, fast.com)
Even on modern router models IPv6 is still not supported by certain services, apparently the service that measures the up/down rate being one of them, and thus IPv6 data is routed past those services.
If the above was the case, then switch off IPv6 on the BE800 and try the speedtest thing again.
