Deco x50 firmware missing manual channel selection feature
Deco x50 firmware missing manual channel selection feature
Why you can't enable the manual channel selection feature?
It's really hard to use auto selections of channel in so much dense area like Bangladesh.
Please enable this feature on deco x50 v1.30. If i knew that tp link taking this step i wouldn't buy any tplink's router. I bought it from india & there is no chance to exchange the product in Bangladesh.
You people wasted my money.
By taking this kinda annoying steps without thinking about the customer's choice tplink will loose the loyal customers.

Have no idea when we can get any update which actually has the channel selection option.
Tired of using this useless router, everyday its getting slow by overlapping other channels.

@Rassel120 Try the beta firmware which will improve 2.4 GHz performance because of using non-overlapping channels. Checkout the link below.

@Rassel120 When internet slowing down have u check by using ethernet cable on PC or Laptop? Are you getting interference on Wi-Fi and which band is congested for you 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz ? Have u tried to replace Main Deco Unit and change the ethernet cable? When internet goes slow down have u check directly on ISP router? Because channel selection could'nt improve the internet performance and Deco series is using 40 MHz on 2.4 GHz for Wi-Fi Backhaul to improve connection between Deco Units because 40 MHz has more bandwidth and i tried both 20 MHz and 40 MHz on my Deco M4 but 20 MHz provide only 30-35 Mbps speed outof 100 Mbps and 40 MHz provide 70-75 Mbps outof 100 Mbps.

@Rassel120 Okay i can understand but have u test the speed through LAN cable which is connected to Deco X50 by using PC or Laptop and are you still getting slow speed? If yes it's mean there is something wrong with your Deco X50 unit.
