Model: Deco X55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.67 Build 25031412 Rel. 48241

I have had X55's for a couple of years now. In the past few months my main unit has started making annoying electronic noise.

I have 4 Units total all connected by CAT6. Only the "Main Deco" is making the noise. I swapped out the main deco for another and shortly there after it is making the same noise!

  @R4nger

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

Have you checked the power supply near the main Deco? Or would there be any high-power home appliances nearby, such as Microwave ovens/electric heaters?

I think the noise might not be due to the Deco. It is very likely affected by the nearby devices.

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @David-TP

i have a similar noise issue with my xp50 (2 units out of 3). Squeaky noise, extremely annoying.

what i read online leads to potential issues with electronic components.
it is definitely the Deco routers that make the noise. When i turn the deco off, the noise stops. 100% positive it is the Deco.
any help please?

  @ArnoDe

it was definitely the deco unit making the noise. Turning them off and on stopped the noise momentarily.
What fixed it was turning it off for over an hour then tuning it back on.

Hi, I notice your current model is Deco PX50, instead of the Deco X50 in the OP.

It is recommended to reach out to the local technical support for further assistance:

Best regards.
