First time poster!

 

I have a mesh network comprised of an M4 as my main Deco and then 3 E4s around the house. So around 2 months ago I added an additional 2 x M4s as I'm going to be needing wifi at the bottom of my garden. I have set one up and the other was to be used when ready. My set up is the ISP Router, connected to the main M4 via Ethernet and the rest of the network is connected through Wifi.

 

Since I added the first M4 and did an firmware update to all Decos on my network, the network performance is poor. Not getting anywhere near the speeds I was getting before and the connectivity constantly drops out or freezes. I recently had my ISP come out (Virgin) and they replaced the router. I've switched a couple of devices over to the ISP wifi from the router and since doing so there's been no issue with those devices so I know there's something going on with the network. 

 

My ISP speed shows at around 1GB. But the Deco mesh is lucky if I get over 50MB. 

 

Any help to alleviate these issues would be appreciated. Will post the network maps shortly.

Hi,

I too had a similar issue, here is the fix for I did for my problem

1)Open Deco app in you device, click on the 'More' option in bottom

2)Go to the QoS button.

3)Inside Qos page edit Total Bandwidth to the your ISP connection speed in Mbps in both download and upload.

This would help you reach your wireless speed similar to your wired connected speed.

  @Scorpion_tm thanks! I have adjusted the settings. Hopefully that helps. 

 

I did a full removal and re-setup of my network yesterday and it seems to be pretty decent this far.
