Hi TP-Link team,

I’m using an EasyMesh setup with the Archer AX12, AX73 V2, and AX53. The mesh works fine, but roaming is still slow because 802.11r isn’t supported.

It would be a big improvement if future firmware added 802.11r Fast Roaming for EasyMesh. This helps with smoother transitions between nodes, especially during calls and streaming.

Easymesh R2 doesn’t include 802.11r as a requirement. I cannot verify whether the spec blocks it, but based on general wifi implementations, i think 802.11r and mesh steering can operate together on the same hardware. so maybe this makes the feature technically achievable if tplink chooses to implement it.

Please consider adding an optional 802.11r toggle in upcoming updates, or share if there’s any planned roadmap for this.

Thanks.
