Unable to update firmware on TL-WA850RE V2
There is no update firmware button on the tether app and when I try to connect to https://www.tplinkrepeater.net/ it just says this site cannot be reached, even though I am connected to the repeater.

Hi,
If the TL-WA850RE is not connected to another network, then try http://192.168.0.254 .
If the TL-WA850RE is already connected to a host network, then look up the TL-WA850RE's current IP address in the router and then use http://[IP address] to access its login webpage.
Edit: Considering the TL-WA850RE V2 is already about 10 years old, I am not sure if it supports https. So maybe http://tplinkrepeater.net would work for you.
