Stuck with 1.1.7 custom fixed version
Hello,
I have a deco be65 mesh system. Due to a bug in your firmware in QoS management I was provided by your techicians of a special build of 1.1.7 version.
I can't now upgrade to 1.1.20 because I would lose the fix. But this means i have to give up to future enhamcments? Should I stay still forever in 1.1.7?
Thanks

Hi, nice to see you again.
Would it be possible to update the support ticket# TKID250551215 to remind the senior engineer that there is still an ongoing bug that needs to be fixed in the next version of Deco BE65_V2?
I've also left a message for notification.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your interest. My issue was resolved with a sort of customized fix in 1.1.7 version. To do this, I was contacted through discord to arrange remote sessions on my computer. i wrote again on discord and the engineer reported me not to upgrade to 1.2.0. But I had no clues on future release. I will search among my emails to see if i find engineers' e-mail addresses to remind them to include the fix in new firmware. With my ticket and the sessions (at early morning as there is big difference between our countries) I contributed to discover a bug, so it would be disappointing being prevented from upgrading and benefit of enhancements.
The fix was about a bug in QoS: i need to use Qos because Deco does not manage very well my upload speed (500 mbit up/2500 down) for probably "buffer bloat" reason. This issue, at present, remains not solved and probably will never be solved, according to engineers answers.
Thanks
