Stopping DECO's all using the same Channel on 2.4Ghz
Hi,
I have several XE75 Pro's and S7's. I had huge issues with 2.4ghz device connectivity because the 2.4Ghz band was fixed very wide and all the DECO's were on the same channel. Connectivity, especially for cameras etc was appalling. Support gave me a custom version of the firmware which meant all the XE75's at least, were no longer using the same channel, and it's been hugely better since. But, new firmrware seem to finally be rolling out, even got an update for the S7 last month, probably at least a year after this issue was experienced by large numbers of people on this board, all running this 'tweaked' version of the firmware, yet none of the new releases seem to address this issue?
It's great to see some firmware updates finally rolling out, but why on earth has this critical problem not been addressed when it clearly can be, given we had a tweaked firmware over a year ago to address it? Why has this patch not been enabled as an option in the new firmware? I know that the very latest DECO hardware has a switch for performance vs stability in the new models, which I think is this very feature.
Thanks.
