I think it would be very useful to be informed about electricity outage.

In a safety system or just to check that the fridge is off (you can't get this with TAPO plugs) this is a key point

I assume that:

- internet connection must be guarantee (UPS)

- this possible "sensor" should necessarily be connected to a plug (to catch when the power is off) but must have a (rechargeable?) battery to stay alive in case of outage, send notifications and other..

It would be nice also if it could understand that the power is back.

This should not be a difficult implementation and - as you can check - on the market there are not good solution available, most of them based on a regular ping of a server that takes time to react and conclude there should be an issue with the electricity and , of course, external to TAPO ecosystem.
