I recently purchased this router. I'm struggling to get the dynamic DNS service to work. This router can "work" with the service offered by TP-Link itself, but if you enable the router's built-in VPN, your hostname won't be included in the export file for the VPN client. Another (more expensive) service is the one offered by Dyndns (the best in my opinion), but even though I enter the credentials provided by the site, it never connects to the server. Despite this, the hostname is applied in the server's remote access menu. Setting up port forwarding seems to work fine, but... when my ISP changes my dynamic IP, will my router be able to forward it to the Dyn com site? I have my doubts, maybe... but I'm not too sure. The same thing happens with the last service, No - IP, provided by this router. I signed up again, entered the credentials, but it doesn't connect. This time the service works even worse than the other one. Why can't I access my router remotely (the web page doesn't load and display correctly), even though port forwarding works quite well. Has this happened to you with other routers? How can I get the router to connect to the built-in dynamic DNS services properly? Thanks for your help.

  @Joseph-TP
Thanks for the reply. Only after purchasing it did I discover that my EB810V is a router designed for ISPs. But I bought it online, here in Italy, from an electronics store. I really think the firmware needs improving. It's very finicky. I have an FWA line, so I have a CPE connected in bridge mode to this router, and I let it do everything. For example, the router won't let me access the CPE's website by typing its IP address (because it only allows the Internet to enter through the WAN port and doesn't look outside.)
As for automatic DNS services, only the "no-ip" and tplink ones connect (but only when logged into the tplink cloud). The dyn . com service (which I purchased at a high price) (the most popular) doesn't connect...even though it "works"...when the login fails...but then if my public IP changes, it obviously stops working. I'm also having trouble with VoIP location detection. It automatically sets me to North America...but I'm in Italy. In short, it seems like an immature firmware that needs to be revised.

Hello @herasymcuk ,

As mentioned before, I lack the information to confirm whether the issue you mentioned stems from a firmware deficiency. Since your EX810v device likely has specific specifications, I suggest you contact local technical support directly for confirmation. The local technical support may have some helpful advice.
