XX530v Addition of IPv6-VoIP mode
XX530v Addition of IPv6-VoIP mode
I would like to get one feature added in the next global update, which also fixes the IPv6 Android 15 Bugs as well as MAC Clone speed limits.
IPv6 VoIP mode is there, but it's not available on the said firmware. I would like that to be added on the upcoming update aswell.
My ISP requires Static IPv6 Profile and IPv6 SIP Proxies to be added, in order to use the VoIP functionality.
Local TP-Link Support isn't helpful, I have been mailing them since a year, response is all bluff.

Thank you very much for your feedback and request.
I've sent your request to the relevant team and hope they will consider including this modification in future updates.
However, I can't give you a definite estimated date whether or when it will become available.![]()

@IfranAli What is the benefits of this feature?

@Dimitar64 If your ISP uses IPv6-based SIP Proxies, then it's useful
AFAIK, TP-Link has that option disabled, and only allows v4 based SIP Proxies OR domain names to work.
My ISP requires it, so the option to enable IPv6-SIP Proxy mode should be there by default and not disabled and hidden.

Who is your ISP, please?
Are you referring to the following setting?

Does your ISP provide IPv4 & IPv6 for both Internet and VoIP services? Do you get stable IPv6 internet access with the XX530v?
Have you tested the VoIP service with any other router?

@Kevin_Z Hello Chief!
1. My ISP is Bharti Airtel (Airtel Broadband)
2. I am referring to that setting, it's present, but hidden and disabled.
3. My IPv6 works perfectly, and my ISP provides Static IPv6 address and separate VLAN for VoIP Profile, as well as, IPv6 SIP Proxies.
4. No Router has been a success so far, but I found out, that a custom Brazilian XX230v firmware had added support for IPv6 VoIP (SIP Proxies).
I would like to have the XX530v v1.0 to also have this feature enabled, would be really helpful!
EDIT: I found out that at the /web/js/oid_str.js
var INCLUDE_VOIP_SUPPORT_IPV6=0 is marked as "Disabled"

I want this simple thing to be toggled and make sure that Via IPv6 VoIP is supported for future firmware releases.

@Kevin_Z Hello Chief!
Unfortunately, the Firmware has been removed from the website, though I saw it.
It was a US1 firmware from 2024, and I didn't download it.
The above details I gave on my last message was done on the XX530v firmware image from the brazilian website
EDIT: I just found out that XX530v v2.0 supports IPv6 VoIP aswell. IDK what was the reason to rush the v1 soo badly, that half of the features are downright missing and/or broken...

Again, can I know where you saw this firmware? https://static.tp-link.com/upload/firmware/2025/202511/20251119/XX530vV2v2_0.5.0_3.1.10_UP_BOOT_agc3000(251104)_2025-11-04_13.28.02.rar.
I will check with the team to see if we also have newer firmware for XX530v V1.0.
However, if you have never configured a router to have the VoIP server up and running, it's still doubtful you will get it working just by enabling IPv6. I would strongly recommend checking all configuration details with your ISP and ensuring that it allows you to connect to their VoIP service.

@Kevin_Z Hello Chief!
This firmware is from the Brazilian Firmware Page for version 2.0: https://www.tp-link.com/br/support/download/xx530v/v2/#Firmware
Both looks identical on the inside, but I have seen this v2 model receive more functional and feature updates than the v1.
EDIT: As for your second question: YES! I can easily ping the SIP Proxies via diagnostics, but I cannot use it on the Telephony section due to no support for VoIP v6.
On top of that, there is no functionality of routing the VoIP Profile through my Internet PPPoE Profile so that I can at the very least, use Zoiper, which has support for IPv6 Proxies.
I have also tested a "SNAT Routing" through my Internet PPPoE Profile and Voice Static v6 Profile on OpenWRT and it works great.

This is the latest firmware with IPv6 RADVD and Android 15+ bug fix. Although MAC Clone bug isn't fixed as of now...

@Kevin_Z I also found this on the XX532v, from TP-Link Spain's firmware: https://www.tp-link.com/es/support/download/xx532v/#Firmware

So it has been confirmed to be an XX530v v1.0 issue and not the entire lineup.
It is easily applicable and can be turned on with a flick of a switch.
I hope the v1 is updated aswell with these values.
