I connected a cable from the LAN port of the power unit to the WAN port of the Wi-Fi router, but the indicator light is orange and not green.

Hello @NeiroCaesar ,
Welcome to our community.
May I know what the model number of your device is? Please refer to
How to find the model number of your TP-Link device
How to find the hardware version on a TP-Link device
Please tell me if your network topology diagram is as follows:
ISP modem—router )))((( client devices
(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )
If your DSL modem router obtains the Internet through the WAN port, please try:
1. Disconnect your TP-Link modem router from the ISP Device, and connect your PC directly to the modem to verify the Internet connection from your ISP.
2. Reboot both the ISP modem and the TP-Link modem router. Power on the router first. Once the router is fully powered on, power on the modem.
3. Log in to the router's web management interface (http://tplinkwifi.net), navigate to Advanced > Network > Internet > Advanced Settings, and change the DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8.
