Hello @Pankajuuuuu ,
Thanks for contacting our community and reporting your feedback.
Are you looking to add SQM to the QoS functionality? As far as I know, TP-Link routers do not currently have this feature.
If you have any other questions about QoS while using the router, please provide more details, including your specific requirements for SQM.

@Joseph-TP Actually QOS doesn't actually works it changes my 40ms loaded latency to 128 ms

I can confirm that enabling the built-in QoS on the AX53 significantly increases bufferbloat under load.
In my testing (80–110 Mbps connection), the results were as follows:
QoS OFF Upload latency increase: ~+6 ms Bufferbloat grade: A
QoS ON (90/90 or 70/70 shaping) Upload latency increase: +120–150 ms Bufferbloat grade: C
This indicates that the current QoS implementation increases latency under load instead of reducing it. For gaming and other real-time applications, proper Smart Queue Management (e.g., FQ-CoDel or CAKE) would significantly improve latency stability.
Given the hardware capabilities of the AX53, it should theoretically be capable of handling proper SQM at typical broadband speeds. Could the dev team clarify whether improvements to queue management are planned in future firmware updates?

@DarthAbhi this version is v 1.6 firmware
I have ax53 v1, for which the latest firmware is the one I mentioned earlier. There might be other universal firmware from other h/w versions, but I'm not comfortable testing them on my device and have the risk of bricking it in the process.

@DarthAbhi, it has been verified by the official that AX53 hardware v1 EU/US is the same, and they have sent the latest firmware to me via email, the one I mentioned above (v1.6), and it has fixed the bufferbloat issue and high loaded latency.

@Pankajuuuuu Not really. I am on 1.6.2 and it kinda performs worse than the previous beta firmware..
