Main deco lost connection

Hi all

Im going round in circles and need help. My wife was wfh yesterday and the WiFi was not working. She used her phone as a hot-spot instead. The main deco is hard wired to a VM3 hub and has been working fine for years. Its no longer talking to the hub and despite resets and trying to reconfigure I cannot get it to connect to the hub anymore. Deco is flashing a blue symbol and i can go through the motions but no joy. Need help please

Hi, usually, there isn't a default password for Deco_xxxx. It is supposed to be an open network.

Maybe you can go to our livechat service, and the support could guide you to reconfigure the Deco step by step.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

@Commuter You have to do factory reset manually by pressing the reset button for 10-15 seconds by the using the pin and also delete the old network from the Deco App and then do the setup again and make sure default Deco name will appeared after the factory reset like Deco_XXXX

Please & Thank You !! ❤️

Thanks for that. I managed to reset it ok but, on an hours drive in the peak district, I had a chance to think about your answer. It occurs to me that in doing a reset the password will also probably switch back to default as well. Anyone know the default password for an E4R? 😀
