Deco X1500 clients going offline
I have just replaced my Archer router and range extenders with a 3 x Deco X1500 mesh.
I have maybe 30 devices on my home network, smart switches, cameras, and so on. Most of these are permanently powered and should be constantly online. However devices are constantly flipping between online and offline. Even the two wired devices are affected.
If I watch the Deco app home screen the number of online clients constantly changes.
Surely this can't be normal behaviour as it causes issues when connecting to a device such as a camera.

Hi, welcome to the community.
Can I have the firmware version of the Deco X1500?
Please try to add a screenshot of the network map on the Deco App, such as:

Have you checked the actual network status on the mobile devices themselves? Are they actually offline, as the Deco App reported?
I've seen feedback before that the Deco App can sometimes be oversensitive, and mobile devices actually remain online on their own control Apps.
By the way, please also refer to How to submit Deco APP log to help me submit the Deco App log.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards.

These Deco devices are new and upgraded to firmware 1.3 at time of installation. The Deco app is latest from Play store.
Firstly the online/offline devices count change dynamically. If you watch the Deco home screen the online device count changes, although no changes have occurred to the devices themselves.
The devices shown offline by Deco all show as online by the ewelink, smartlife, and Tapo apps. A couple eg TV and Firestick are in standby. A couple are smart bulbs behind smart switches so are actually offline. But the majority of devices in the offline list are constantly online devices. As mentioned the content of the online and offline lists change dynamically. This is across all 3 Decos. I have a wired VoIP adapter which occasionally appears amongst the offline devices. I have also seen Echos offline whilst they are streaming audio, and my tablet offline whilst using it.
I tried turning Beam forming off, no difference. I also assigned a fixed address to a few devices, cameras, Sonos and Echos, no difference.
Couple of screenshots attached. Home screen showing 24 online clients. The other the offline clients list showing 33 clients offline. Of those only one. Bathroom-Light-Bulb is actually offline, all the others are actually online. The tablet I am using right now to take screenshot. The offline devices are connected to different Decos. Again as mentioned the content of the online and offline lists constantly changes.
TBH, if they didn't solve a connectivity issue with 2 Sonos speakers that I had with the C6 router I probably would have sent the Decos back and reverted to C6 and 850 range extenders.
Looks like I can only add system log and screenshots to the 'contact us' email. So I have repeated the above text and added screenshots.
Any other questions please feel free to ask through the forum or
direct email.
