The qualcomm SOC should support it.

May I ask why you expect our router to support 240 MHz on 5 GHz? If possible, please provide more details. Alternatively, are you experiencing any challenges using your router? Perhaps you could tell us so we can help you identify the cause and provide a suitable solution.

The router's perform very well and all the performance issues I have encountered so far have been traced to client devices and some iptv protocols I could disable.

However If the SOC supports faster speeds why not try to get them ? It I do not ask I most certainly will probably not get a faster device. 

The Qualcomm 620 Networking Pro supports the 240MHz and according to my research the Archer BE550 utilizes this perticular soc (I haven't dissasembled it though). Based on that it would be nice to try it out.
