Slow Speed on TP Link XX530v main router over Airtel 1 Gbps Plan
Hello Community members,
I am facing severe slowness on TP Link XX530v as main router connected directly to the Airtel Line. I am getting speeds nearly 300 Mbps at a distance of 5-6 Meters from the router. I am using Static IP as mode of connection. On LAN I am getting speed of 900 Mbps. What can be the issue

I checked on another laptop, and neither has a LAN port, so I am using a TP-Link USB-C to RJ45 (2.5 GB) Adapter. I am getting almost equivalent speed on both. But on another laptop, a 4-year-old HP model, when I check the speed using Airtel ONT, it's over 750 Mbps, and when I check the speed using TP-Link ONT, I am getting just over 600 Mbps on both the HP and my Lenovo Laptop, which I purchased this year.
Now I am really unable to determine the exact cause or which Vendor I should call to provide accurate evidence and get the same rectified.
These speeds are when both laptops and both OLTs are kept side by side. I also had the Wi-Fi card replaced on my Lenovo laptop just 10 days ago and reinstalled the operating system this week.
What could be the problem

@AlokJain I think this could be the TP-Link ONT aswell. There are lots of variables I am seeing. Now only way I see is to get this replaced via TP-Link India and get another one.
Then post an update again. If still the same, you have to request TP-Link engineer to look into the matter, as I have no expertise on that part. Whatever I know, I shared.
PS: Those are called ONT, not OLT, So I ask you to edit the "OLT" to "ONT", as OLT is on the ISP side and ONT on your side. You might confuse others.

@IfranAli Thanks for the help, Irfan. I have made the corrections; now I will try to get the TP-Link router replaced.

@IfranAli , while trying to replace or optimise the router, Yesterday one of the technicians of the store from where I have purchased the router disabled band steering, but I did not notice a significant improvement in the speed. Kindly advise whether Band Steering should be enabled or disabled

@AlokJain Band Steering is just 2.4GHz and 5GHz names combined onto 1 SSID (not actual combination, just same SSID). It auto-balances the wifi, based on the signal strength
by disablong, you have control over the 2.4 and 5GHz band
I reckon you keep it disabled, and manually tune 5GHz to channel 100, channel width 160MHz
