  @Cnyhed This is a known hardware issue, and not firmware. Either use another port, or reach out to TP Link support to see if they will replace the unit for you. I have read others with replacement units also encountered the fault again at a later stage. Best of luck.

Hi, it is more likely a hardware issue. Please reach out to the local support team for warranty service:

Best regards.

@David-TP

I don't agree with the statement that it is a hardware issue. It might end up being a hardware issue, yes, but it doesn't come out of the box with the issue.

My hardware info:

Model: Deco XE75 (3-pack) (EU)

Hardware Version: 1.0

Firmware Version: 1.4.3 Build 20240926 Rel. 38336

We have 3 pods at home. They all worked perfectly until a certain moment. Port 1 on the "main" pod stopped working. So as suggested by many users, including TP-link support, I swapped the main pod with on of the others and assigned the new one as "main" pod, but now that one immediately bricked port 1 too. Now I have 2 out of 3 pods where port 1 doesn't work anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if the firmware bricks port 1 of pods that are configured as "main".

My confidence in TP-Link is damaged once more. In the past we've had unresolved issues with your powerline adapters and switches, and now so sudden and unexpectedly with these mesh routers too. I don't see why I would choose or recommend TP-Link products in the future if TP-Link cannot offer a solution to this problem.

Is it not an option to have the firmware checked instead of supporting this throwaway society? We're clearly not the only people with this specific issue:

Or is this all fixed with a newer hardware version of these mesh routers?
